I'm Christopher Gardella, and I build Draftanomics as a place to follow the NFL Draft class: where the public boards rank each prospect, what the collected scouting says, how past classes turned out, and which earlier prospects looked most similar coming out. Not a replacement for Brugler or Kiper — a place where their boards, and everyone else's, are aggregated, archived, and compared.
What this site is.
The Draft Desk is the front door. It carries the mock draft, the Public Draft Board, prospect reports, career results for every class since 2015, and a comparison engine that finds the historical prospects whose pre-draft profiles most resemble a current one. How each product is built, and where its data comes from, is on the methodology page.
The GM Seat.
The GM Seat ↗ is the home of our football and baseball GM games, including Franchise. Draftanomics focuses on real NFL draft research and mock drafts. The football game uses its own fictional league and players.
