The people we cite.
Draftanomics doesn't watch film — we cite the people who do, and we build on a mix of public and third-party data. Credit is not the same as permission: this page names dependencies and flags unresolved lineage. If your work appears here and the attribution can be better, tell us and we'll fix it.
Scouting outlets we cite.
Film claims in our written reports must cite a named scout — these are the outlets those citations point to.
Per-prospect scouting profiles. Film observations from Walter's writeups appear in our reports as cited, footnoted claims.
Draft profiles and grades. Cited by scout name wherever their observations inform a report.
Rankings and positional analysis, folded into the consensus picture with attribution.
Scouting reports and big boards. Their analysts' observations are cited by name in our written reports.
Independent board work that sharpens the consensus signal; credited wherever it's used.
Aggregated rankings that feed the consensus spine, attributed on the boards that use them.
The aggregation spine.
Historical consensus discovery used this index and follows Arif Hasan's Consensus Big Board methodology. Immutable pre-draft capture times and reuse permission are not yet verified for every historical row, so this cache remains research-only for predictive validation.
Data foundations.
Datasets present in models, backtests, and dossiers. Each credit states what is known; no entry implies rights that have not been verified.
NFL draft results, rosters, participation, and statistical feeds. Each downstream field still needs its own source and license record; the project-level credit is not a blanket rights claim.
The documented clean backbone for provider-ID college production, recruiting, and program context. Pulls are snapshot-hashed and missing coverage stays explicit.
Prospect headshots, served from ESPN's public CDN and used solely to identify players.
Historical athletic-testing features present in the warehouse. Attribution is recorded here; commercial model-training and redistribution permission is not asserted by this credit.
Approximate Value and historical records remain in research data. They do not support a current public predictive claim, and raw-source lineage and permitted model use require separate verification.
Historical charting-derived features are present in research frames. Draftanomics does not currently have verified commercial model-training rights or a raw-source manifest, so this route is not publication-ready.
