Testing intelligence

NFL Combine 40 times.

The 2027 combine runs Feb. 23 – Mar. 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium — here’s what last year’s testing said. Below: the 2026 class’s leaders in all six drills, each measured against a decade of prospects at his position. The stopwatch belonged to Brenen Thompson, whose 4.26s forty was faster than 99% of WRs tested since 2015.

How to read this. Every percentile compares a prospect against players at his own position who tested since 2015 — a 4.55 forty is a burner for a guard and a red flag for a receiver, so raw times without that context are noise. Not every prospect runs every drill; leaders reflect the players who actually tested.
