01Experience and production

Baranowski started 13 games in 2025 and recorded 103 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup and a forced fumble. He earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten recognition in both 2024 and 2025. Earlier special-teams work preceded his larger linebacker role.

02Recognition and trigger

Baranowski has become more decisive and aggressive with experience at Mike linebacker. An earlier trigger lets him enter the fit before the block develops. His next requirement is preserving that speed without committing beyond the runner's available cutback.
