Master scouting report

Singleton projects as a developmental outside receiver with size, catch radius and contact balance. Two active USF seasons produced 1,285 yards and 11 touchdowns. Limited suddenness, unproven releases against stronger press and incomplete intermediate route detail leave the NFL role less established than the college scoring production.

01Career And Production

Singleton missed 2023 after ankle surgery, then emerged during the second half of 2024 and broke out with 50 catches for 877 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025. His final season ranked third in school history in receiving yards and second in receiving touchdowns, making the transfer résumé much more than a few isolated highlights.

02Frame And Testing Context

Auburn lists Singleton at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds after USF documented a gain of more than 30 pounds early in his career.

03Release and press projection

Singleton accessed routes productively in USF's tempo offense, but consistent wins against physical press are not established. A corner crowding his chest can test whether he clears contact without extra steps or a delayed stem. Motion and reduced splits can provide access, while isolated outside work still requires an independent release.

04Route Running

Singleton is a possession-oriented boundary target with limited suddenness and separation, but his explosive production gives him value beyond short routes.

05Ball Skills

Singleton uses leverage, a broad catch radius and strength through contact to present a useful outside target. Reliable hands give the quarterback margin on imperfect throws. The stronger projection is receiving through contact rather than creating repeated separation with sudden route breaks.

06Explosive Production

Singleton averaged 15.7 yards per catch in 2024 and 17.5 in 2025, with four career 100-yard games and a 66-yard long in his breakout season. Those results establish that he can create or finish chunk plays even though reliable air-yard and yards-after-catch splits are unavailable. The production matters without proving that every explosive catch came from the same trait.

07After The Catch

His best post-catch value comes when he secures the ball on schedule and keeps a large frame moving vertically. His contact balance is a more dependable way to extend a catch than exceptional elusiveness. Screens and crossers can add touches, but his professional role should not depend on making multiple defenders miss from a standstill.

08Blocking

Singleton's receiving play strength is better established than his perimeter blocking. At 215 pounds he has useful mass, but consistent hand placement, leverage and sustain as a blocker remain unproven. His frame alone does not justify a strong blocking projection.

09College transition

Singleton transferred from USF to Auburn with the same head coach and quarterback, Byrum Brown. That preserves offensive and timing continuity during the conference move. The unresolved individual assignments are clearing physical press, separating on conventional intermediate routes and sustaining perimeter blocks.

The case for the player

Strengths

  • Auburn lists him at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, giving him a true boundary frame.

  • He produced 877 yards, eight touchdowns and 17.5 yards per catch in 2025.

  • Four career 100-yard games establish that the explosive production was repeatable.

  • Reliable hands and a broad catch radius make him a useful target.

  • He has scored 11 times on 76 career receptions in USF's official accounting.

  • System and quarterback continuity at Auburn reduce the transition burden.

The questions that remain

Concerns

  • His press releases have not been established against SEC-caliber physical coverage.

  • Limited suddenness makes consistent separation difficult against attached coverage.

  • The intermediate route inventory and pace variation are less established than his boundary catch-point work.

  • His perimeter-blocking technique remains largely untested.

  • His production came in a tempo-heavy Group of Five offense before the Auburn transfer.

Building the fit

NFL role and scheme fit

Project Singleton outside at X or Z in a vertical and play-action offense. Posts, fades, deep overs, comebacks and back-shoulder throws use his frame and catch radius. Crossers can use his momentum after the catch, but tight-space creation is a weaker assignment. Selective motion can help access the route while press releases and intermediate separation develop.

The Draftanomics view

Bottom line

Singleton offers a developmental boundary role through size, reliable hands and finishing strength. His explosive production is meaningful without establishing rare speed or elusiveness. Press-release quality and intermediate separation remain the main barriers to a dependable NFL receiving workload, with perimeter blocking also unproven. A complementary outside role is more credible than a featured projection at this stage.
