Master scouting report

Lance Heard has the frame and force to make an offensive tackle evaluation feel straightforward until the defender changes the terms of the rep. He can overwhelm a matchup when his position is right, and his experience gives that physical promise more substance than a recruiting projection. The concern is how often his balance and hand placement let the rusher dictate the recovery. Kentucky offers the next setting for that development. Kentucky lists Heard at 6-foot-6 and 325 pounds. He arrived after two seasons at Tennessee and one at LSU, with 24 career starts in the official biography. Those include 12 starts at left tackle in 2025 and 11 in 2024, plus a right-tackle start against Army during his LSU freshman season. The route matters because he has already faced the responsibilities of a regular college tackle. It does not mean every part of his technique has caught up with the experience, or that a move to a third program erases the questions from the previous one.
