Umanmielen spent two seasons at Nebraska before transferring to Ole Miss, then joined LSU for 2026. Umanmielen recorded nine sacks and 13 tackles for loss across 15 games in 2025. He recorded a tackle for loss in each of the final eight games and added a sack against Miami in the playoff semifinal. That late-season involvement is more informative than an isolated sack total: he remained part of the disruption as the schedule reached its most demanding stage. Current LSU materials list him at 6-foot-4 and 256 pounds.
