01Experience and production

Brown started 13 games as an Alabama freshman in 2024 and intercepted three passes. In 2025 he recorded 39 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and six pass breakups. Both interceptions that season became touchdowns: a 99-yard return against Tennessee and a 50-yard return against Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff. Those plays came within two seasons of substantial outside coverage responsibility.

Brown stays square and patient in man coverage, mirroring from soft press and working comfortably from off alignment. A controlled backpedal, fluid hip turn and quick downhill break let him transition without a lengthy reset. He has carried extensive boundary responsibility with limited safety help. Brown reads the quarterback and anticipates throws in zone, with enough closing speed to reach the ball before the receiver. Brown can become reactive with his hands when a receiver gains leverage, grabbing instead of trusting his recovery feet. The late contact creates penalty risk. His patient soft-press movement is better established than repeated physical press work against strong receivers, so a full press assignment would require more consistent control through contact.

05Run support and tackling

Brown comes downhill willingly and has shown effective finishes against runs and short completions. Missed attempts remain an issue when his approach is less controlled. He needs to arrive balanced and complete the wrap; his range alone does not make the perimeter stop dependable.
