One cut for Baugh

Jadan Baugh gets South Carolina after 13 yards at Missouri. Nick Marsh brings his first 100-yard Indiana game to Nebraska.

Saturday game times 4 games · All times Eastern

October 10, 2026. Schedule checked October 9, 2026; times can change.

Jadan Baugh gained 12 yards on his first carry at Missouri, then finished the game with 13. Against South Carolina on October 10, watch the cut that takes him toward contact: his quick feet should get his power moving upfield. Nick Marsh comes off seven catches for 120 yards as Indiana heads to Nebraska. Arch Manning’s progressions and KJ Bolden’s pursuit angles join the watchlist, along with Dylan Stewart’s counter move as he prepares to travel with South Carolina.

WR Indiana

Nick Marsh

Indiana at Nebraska · · FOX

Can he hold his position and finish the catch through contact?

Nick Marsh caught seven passes for 120 yards in Indiana’s 47–15 win at Rutgers, his first 100-yard game as a Hoosier. His report gives him ways to reach the ball: a direct release across a corner’s face and a feel for openings in zone. Against Nebraska, stay with the targets where the defender reaches the catch with him. Those physical finishes divide the scouting evaluations.

SparkScouting credits Marsh’s body control and catches through contact; Paul Emery and Best Available want more strength or better contested finishes. At the catch point, follow his position before his hands. Can he keep the corner away from the ball, secure it, then turn upfield? His frame should help him own that space. Reaching for extra yards before he has possession gives the defender another chance.

Watch for

  • Does he keep the defender from reaching through his catch window?
  • Is the ball secured before he turns upfield?

RB Florida

Jadan Baugh

South Carolina at Florida · · SEC Network

Does his next cut take him upfield before the lane closes?

Jadan Baugh gained 12 yards on his first carry at Missouri and finished with 13 on 12 attempts. Four of his next five carries lost yardage. Florida center Harrison Moore took responsibility for the blocking and described Baugh getting hit behind the line. South Carolina’s visit puts the blocks and the back’s decisions under the same scrutiny: find where the lane appears, then watch how quickly Baugh takes it.

The jump cut is part of his power game. Our report credits quick feet that change where the tackle arrives, then balance that lets him keep moving through it. The concern is the extra adjustment. Once a block opens a path, another sideways step can spend the space his patience just created.

Start the replay at the handoff and follow the first crease. A cut that takes him through it lets him meet contact going forward; a second cut across it gives the pursuit time to arrive. That is the decision to grade against South Carolina, with the defender’s arrival measured against the opening the line actually gives him.

Watch for

  • When a crease opens, does his next step take him through it?
  • After the cut, does he meet contact moving upfield?

EDGE South Carolina

Dylan Stewart

South Carolina at Florida · · SEC Network

Can he beat the tackle’s hands after his first move is stopped?

Dylan Stewart has appeared in two games this season, with three quarterback hurries, and missed Kentucky after his suspension. Shane Beamer said Thursday that Stewart would travel to Florida, according to Saturday Down South’s account of his radio show. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Stewart was on track to play if his progress continued. He is absent from Thursday’s SEC availability list. If he returns, watch what happens when the tackle catches his opening move.

The dip around the outside shoulder is the threat in our report. Tyler Forness credits Stewart’s ability to flatten toward the quarterback but also flags reliance on that entry; Emery wants a more connected set of moves. If the tackle stays square and lands his hands, Stewart needs to clear the contact while his feet keep gaining ground. Watch for a second attack that follows the first, rather than a pause to start the rush again.

Watch for

  • When the tackle lands his hands, do Stewart’s feet keep gaining ground?
  • Does the counter follow the first move before the blocker can reset?

QB Texas

Arch Manning

Texas vs. Oklahoma · · ABC

Can he leave the covered receiver and set his feet for the next throw?

Arch Manning completed his first six passes for 120 yards at Tennessee and finished 14 of 19 for 201 in Texas’s 20–17 win. Texas had an open week before Oklahoma. The Cotton Bowl assignment puts the timing question in his report back in view: when the first receiver is covered, how long does Manning stay there before finding the next throw?

The favorable and critical evaluations agree on delayed progressions even as they disagree about his placement. Manning can make a difficult throw after moving, but the second receiver needs his eyes and feet working together before the window closes. Start with the plays that keep him in the pocket. Follow his eyes off the first read, then his base: the reset should put him in position to deliver, without another hitch that lets coverage recover.

Watch for

  • Do his eyes leave the covered first read while the next receiver is available?
  • Are his feet set when he finds the second throw?

S Georgia

KJ Bolden

Georgia at Alabama · · ABC

Can he close downhill without giving the runner a cutback?

KJ Bolden tied for Georgia’s tackle lead with seven against Vanderbilt, a week after returning an interception 28 yards against Oklahoma. He reaches plays from depth; our report credits the range to overlap a deep route and the burst to close downhill. Alabama tests the finish after that range has brought him into the play. The key is how much room he leaves the runner to change direction.

Emery generally likes his tackling but notes false steps against misdirection. SparkScouting is more critical of his pursuit angles. Both concerns meet at the approach: Bolden has to close the distance while keeping the runner in front of him. Arriving faster helps only if he can still adjust when the runner plants.

On runs and short completions that bring him downhill, follow his last two steps before contact. Watch whether he stays square enough to tackle through a cut, or gives away his inside shoulder and has to reach back. Those are the snaps to pull first from the night game.

Watch for

  • Do his last two steps leave him able to adjust to a cut?
  • Does he keep his inside shoulder between the runner and the cutback?

Postgame follow-up planned for October 12, 2026.

We’ll return to these questions, separate what the new evidence supports from what remains open, and explain any change to our assessment. The preview above stays on the record.

  • Nick MarshPull targets with a defender at the catch point and compare Marsh’s position before contact with his possession afterward.
  • Jadan BaughPair each cut with the lane available at that moment, then follow his momentum into the first tackle.
  • Dylan StewartConfirm participation, then pull rushes where the tackle stops the outside move and follow Stewart’s hands and feet through the counter.
  • Arch ManningPull pocket passes with a covered first read; mark the next receiver’s opening against Manning’s eye movement, reset and release.
  • KJ BoldenPull downhill tackles and missed approaches, comparing the runner’s final cut with Bolden’s angle and last two steps.
