Saturday game times 4 games · All times Eastern

October 31, 2026. Schedule checked October 30, 2026; times can change.

Matayo Uiagalelei has six sacks, with at least one in five of Oregon’s seven games. Against Northwestern on October 31, watch his next move when a tackle stops the cross-chop. CJ Carr opens the day against Navy with a question about the pause at his second read. In Atlanta, Nate Frazier’s patience behind a puller and Ellis Robinson IV’s search for the ball put two Georgia prospects in view. Anthony Donkoh completes the five at Penn State, where an inside counter tests the feet beneath his punch.

QB Notre Dame

CJ Carr

Notre Dame vs. Navy (Foxborough) · · ABC

Can he get past the second read without double-clutching?

CJ Carr takes 16 touchdown passes and one interception into the Navy game after completing 27 passes for 261 yards at BYU. His compact release and connected footwork make intermediate throws arrive in rhythm. The harder sequence begins when the first receiver is covered. Carr can reach the next option, but a pause there gives a defender time to close what had been an available window.

Follow his feet as his eyes move from the first read to the second. A small climb can keep the delivery intact; an extra hitch and a double-clutch can leave him throwing after the route has lost its advantage. If that second window closes, the checkdown needs to become the next decision. Watch whether Carr moves to it promptly or tries to restart a throw that the coverage has already taken away.

Watch for

  • Do his feet stay connected to his eyes when the first receiver is covered?
  • When the second window closes, does he reach the checkdown before another hitch?

RB Georgia

Nate Frazier

Florida vs. Georgia (Atlanta) · · ABC

Can he wait for the puller before accelerating through the crease?

Nate Frazier had nine carries and caught three passes for 16 yards against Auburn. Florida next gets a runner who can accelerate through a crease before pursuit closes it. The question in Atlanta comes a beat earlier, when a pulling blocker is still approaching contact and Frazier has to decide how long to follow. Committing before the blocker establishes leverage can spend that burst on a lane that never opens.

His hips and footwork give him room to adjust without coming to a stop. Watch whether he uses that freedom to stay behind the puller, then plants and accelerates once the defender declares a side. On runs through a crowded interior, the same patience matters beside a double-team. The first opening may look inviting before the block develops; Frazier’s speed should carry him through the opening his linemen create.

Watch for

  • Does he stay behind the puller until the block establishes a side to run through?
  • Can he adjust beside a double-team without stopping his feet or committing early?

EDGE Oregon

Matayo Uiagalelei

Northwestern at Oregon · · Peacock

Can he win inside when the tackle stops his cross-chop?

Matayo Uiagalelei has six sacks and has recorded at least one in five of Oregon’s seven games. His cross-chop gives Northwestern a clear problem to prepare for: he can clear the tackle’s punch without taking a wider path to the quarterback. A well-timed start puts his long stride to work before the blocker gets settled. The next test comes when that tackle catches up and closes the outside route.

Uiagalelei can threaten with a long-arm rush and work back across the inside shoulder, but his second move does not follow automatically once the blocker recovers. Watch the hand exchange after the chop. If the tackle stays square, Uiagalelei needs to change the angle while there is still room to cross his face. A late start can leave him wrestling with a blocker whose outside hand is already established, making that transition harder.

Keep the stalled rushes alongside the clean wins. The revealing detail is how quickly he leaves a move that has stopped working: the next step, the next hand and the path they create toward the passer.

Watch for

  • When the tackle recovers against the cross-chop, does Uiagalelei attack the inside shoulder on his next step?
  • Does a late start delay the counter until the blocker controls his chest?

CB Georgia

Ellis Robinson IV

Florida vs. Georgia (Atlanta) · · ABC

Can he locate the ball before the receiver reaches for it?

Ellis Robinson IV broke up one pass at Auburn after making four tackles against Alabama. His movement gives Georgia a corner who can turn and accelerate back into a route after losing an early step. Against Florida, watch what happens once he catches up. Getting beside the receiver leaves another job: locating the pass soon enough to challenge the catch.

Robinson can plant against an in-breaking route and recover from soft press, but he sometimes reaches the receiver before his head finds the ball. Follow those two turns separately: the hips that put him back in range, then the head that lets him play the throw. When the route has pulled him out of position, reaching and grabbing can undo the recovery. The finish should let his feet and closing speed lead to a contest at the ball.

Watch for

  • After his hips turn him back into the route, when does his head locate the ball?
  • Does he complete the recovery with his feet or reach for the receiver?

OL Penn State

Anthony Donkoh

Purdue at Penn State · · Big Ten Network

Can he stay square when the rusher crosses his face?

Anthony Donkoh has started seven games for Penn State this season. His hands can stop a rusher’s momentum, and his anchor gives him an answer to power through his chest. Purdue brings the next test of the space around that strength. Follow the rush that starts outside, draws him toward the corner and then cuts back across his face.

Donkoh can shorten the corner when his set and strike meet the rusher on time. If the initial contact misses, his limited lateral recovery can leave him leaning or opening an inside path. Watch whether he keeps his feet beneath him as he delivers the punch, then takes a short adjustment step when the defender changes direction. His hands have more chance to settle the block if his body stays in front of the rush.

Watch for

  • Does his punch land while his feet still leave him room to adjust inside?
  • After an outside threat, can he close the inside lane without leaning across the rusher?
